| This coffee house, located in Oradell, New Jersey began its life as a piano showroom. The owner’s son took over with visions to create a coffee shop with a home town feeling and a friendly interior atmosphere. Above the coffee house a martial arts studio existed. To limit noise from above, sound absorbent fabric and heavy insulation was installed as well as new support steel to stiffen the floors and reduce vibration. The project required building forward approximately 6’-0”. New ADA compliant bathrooms, ramps, and entrances were created. A new fireplace was installed. The interior was finished with muted painted surfaces, eclectic décor, soft lighting and oak floors. |  |
